The Foundation students had close scrutiny of the various aspects of Science. On July 9, 2022, Doon Defence Academy held an educational excursion to Vigyan Dham. The DDA Foundation Course students were enthralled and riveted by the Shourya Sthal, Indian Military Academy, and Central Research Institute. This was the first educational tour conducted by Doon Defense Academy for Foundation Course students, and it took place in the Vigyan Dham, which was administered by the Uttarakhand Council for Science and Technology, where numerous science displays were shown for the students to see and admire. Students were shown 3-D displays, a planetarium, models of the Himalayas, Frontiers of Technology, and other exciting and engaging aspects of science. . The students were shown a 3-D movie, a planetarium, models of the Himalayas, Frontiers of Technology, and numerous intriguing and amusing elements of Science, as well as information to make them aware of the Innovation Hub. Before the instructional trip began, Sandeep Gupta, Director of DDA, and Deputy Director Divya Gupta gave a motivational address to the children. When Sandeep Gupta Sir and Deputy Director Divya Gupta arrived, the kids offered them a warm and cordial greeting and conveyed their thanks for the enjoyable tour. The students visited the Shourya Sthal while traveling by bus, and they couldn’t help themselves from becoming enthusiastic to read the names of the Martyrs and reciting slogans inscribed . . They continued to recite the slogans loudly, and the whole Shourya Sthal was reverberating with Bharat Mata KI Ja and Jai Hind. Teachers who accompanied the students offered further information on the Central Research Institute, such as ONGC, Survey of India, RIMC, FRI, and so on. At the end of the visit, the students were escorted to see the Indian Military Academy’s Chet wood building and the Campus closely. The students were captivated by the IMA’s vast acreage.
