Doon Defence Academy Students Are Taken For An Excursion To Vigyan Dham 2022

DDA Students Are Taken For An Excursion To Vigyan Dham Doon Defence Academy organized a three-day educational tour for the DDA students to Vigyan Dham and the excursion began on the 25th of November 2022 to attend the 3rd Dehradun International Science and Technology Festival-2022. DDA students headed and supervised by the DDA faculty were cordially invited to the festival to be a part and parcel of the grand Science festival 2022. The festival featured various interesting competitions and workshops also witnessed and participated in by DDA students including workshops on Aeromodelling and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) technology and Robotics. Other events were Science Poster making competition and a parallel full-day exhibition for the students, Science Quiz, Green Energy Conclave (Energy conservation award ceremony). Students visited Science Park and Science Museum where the latest technology related to Science was demonstrated. The three-day visit for them was an eye-opener for the youngsters who have the potential to be innovative and just need a boost and inspiration to give wings to their dreams and aspirations. The students were given an insight into the most advanced technological instruments and equipment based on the various Scientific theories and principles and how they can be applied to make the best use of the energy. Energy conservation Conclave was yet another event attended by the students to make them ponder on the greenest energy source that could be an alternative to other polluting energy sources like fossil fuels. They were enraptured by the event ‘Young Scientist & Startup Conclave-2022. The students of the Doon Defence Academy were greatly excited to interact with eminent personalities including Mr.Raj.Kumar Asthana-the designated officer in charge of the event. The students also met acclaimed Engineers from various organizations and Educational Heads of renowned institutions to gain insight into their field of interest. The center helped to popularize Science in the state of Uttarakhand. The visit was really an enriching experience that made the Science students of DDA inquisitive about various research and science activities that they could contribute to and which could prove beneficial for them as well as the institute. It was indeed a very rejuvenating and re-energizing tour for the students which also provided them with a break from their mundane everyday routine of studies and practice.
