In the Doon Defence Academy located at Sahastradhara road of Dehradun-the Capital city of Uttarakhand, all the DDA diamonds who successfully qualified for the written exam of NDA, CDSE and AFCAT conducted by UPSE on 16th April 2023, were conferred with certificates of achievement, cash prize money of 1000 rupees each and congratulatory messages from the entire Doon Defence Academy fraternity. On this gracious occasion when there was a sense of achievement in the hearts and minds of all the qualifying DDA diamonds, the Director and Founder of DDA, Mr Sandeep Gupta also congratulated and blessed his students who had made him feel proud by getting selected in the first round of evaluation by UPSC in the various Defence competitive exams and added that all the students should bear in mind the fact that there is no short cut to success and they can only achieve success if they climb the ladder of their dreams gradually by working hard and by being consistent in their efforts. On this delightful occasion, the Founder Director Mr Sandeep Gupta and the DDA Deputy Director together glorified the deserving DDA stalwarts with medals of achievements, certificates, and the cash prize money of 1000 rupees each. The Director and Founder Mr Sandeep Gupta addressed the audience formally and conveyed the message that all the DDA stalwarts have proven that DDA indeed deserves the title of the best Defence Institute by qualifying for the written exam of NDA, CDSE and AFCAT in large numbers. More than 100 students got the prize money and medals. The success of a large number of DDA students in the written exams of NDA, CDSE and AFCAT has made Doon Defence Academy accomplish new milestones in the field of the defence sector. He added that the students need not stop working hard here because this is not the final stage of their evaluation to get selected for the armed forces. The students have to successfully qualify for the SSB and the Medical round of evaluation as well to be recruited into the armed forces. He advised the students to be consistent in their efforts to work hard and not become overconfident that the next round will not require any effort from their side. As per the announcement made by the Director, the qualifying students of all these written exams will be given the SSB interview preparatory classes free of cost. Among the DDA students who qualified for the NDA written exam and received the honours were Vaishali Chauhan, Sapna, Aman Chaturvedi, Shivam Singh, Lavish, Nikesh Kumar, Rohit Gajraj, Kundaal, Saurabh Kumar, ShivKant, Manish Kumar, Shivam Singh, Pradeep Yadav, Tinku Chahar, Nirbhaya Mishra, Ankit Kumar, Shubham Kumar, Ankit Negi, Pratham Gupta, Prashant Rathore, Niraj Sarashwat, Shivam Kumar, Suraj Singh Bhadoriya, Prince Kumar, Prashant Singh, Sachin Koyad, Abhishek Badala, Vansh Chaudhary, Shivraj Kumar, Prabhakar Mourya, Rubal Saxena, Aditya Rai, Vishnu, Rahul Kumar, Nikhil Kumar, Krishna Hari, Aditya Sharma, Vinay Pratap Singh, Vishnu Pathak, Arjun Thakur, Abhishek, Shivam Upadhaya, Ronak Dubey, Sarthak Dhama, Abhaya Kumar, Yashpal Singh, Devendra Sarswat, Abhishek Shiv Hare, Aditya, Rahul, Suraj Singh Bhadoria, Pranjal Rana, Shyam Tripathi, Narendra Kumar, Gaurav Pratap Singh, Durgesh Kumar and the students who qualified for the CDSE exam were Chirag Yadav, Vaishali, Priyanshu, Ashutosh Kumar, Shrivastav and Shivam Singh were there. In the AFCAT exam, the DDA students who qualified for the written exam were Rohit Kumar, Anshuman Yadav, Saniya, Anshuman Singh, Shivam Sharma, Sameer Raj, Kushal Chaudhary, Vijay Chaudhary, Manish Kumar, Ayush, Shivam Goyal and Rahul. The Director considered it a privilege to give away the awards to so many DDA stalwarts. The number of qualifying students is increasing day by day and the success rate of DDA can be seen in ascending order with the manner in which DDA students are making a mark by presenting an exemplary result year after year.
