SANDEEP SIR’S & DR. COL. R. DURGA MESSAGE TO DDA STUDENTS NOT TO BE CALLOUS DURING THE WINTER SEASON Dehradun -Sandeep Sir- Director of Doon Defence Academy & Medical Officer Dr. Col. R. Durga instructs in one of his online messages that the students of DDA ought not to be negligent while taking care of themselves during the winter season. The winter season has started and with the approaching winter season in Dehradun, there is a probability of extreme cold due to the cold waves that might persist for a long duration in the coming months. The students are supposed to take good care of themselves and dress appropriately in woolen clothes. The students are advised to wear their sweaters, pullovers, and inner thermals. The use of blankets and quilts during the night is also recommended by him. This suggestion is specifically for those students who have come from outstation places to get their training done at DDA. As some students come from places where it isn’t as cold as it is in Dehradun being a mountainous region, they are completely not aware of the health hazards that they might have to suffer on account of being exposed to the extremes of temperature existing in Dehradun. The students are suggested to appropriately follow all instructions given by Sandeep Sir & Medical Officer Dr. Col. R. Durga. As per the weather forecast, there is a probability of rain and snowfall during the winter season which might intensify the cold and the temperature might fall. If in case your health gets affected, it might affect the academic progress of these students which in turn might adversely affect their scores and performance during their NDA exam both written and interview. If this happens, these students might not be able to perform in their defence competitive exam as per their expectations. Sandeep Sir-the Director of DDA & Medical Officer Dr. Col. R. Durga has instructed that those students who are being absent from their classes regularly need to mandatorily register their attendance in their classes and ensure their regular presence in their academic sessions at DDA to continue and complete their training.
