PRATHAM PAG CONDUCTED A QUIZ CONTEST PRATHAM PAG STRIVES TO ACHIEVE HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE STUDENTS

Pratham Pag is another unit of Doon Defence Academy to initiate the training of those students who wish to start their preparation for Defence Competitive exams while continuing their class eleventh and twelfth. On the 22nd of September 2022, Pratham Pag conducted a quiz contest for the students of Pratham Pag along with one team from Apollo International School. Mr Giriraaj Gupta was the quiz master and overall in charge of the quiz. The Pratham Pag which is headed by Mr D.N.Thapliyal is a very efficient team of educators who are all time involved in planning some or the other co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the students to bring out the best results. The quiz was conducted to make the students of the same level participate and come together to have an interesting interaction with each other with the intention of developing skills like team spirit, fair play, and cooperation. There were four teams in all. Three teams represented the three houses of Pratham Pag and one team represented Apollo House. The main objective of the team was to bring about the holistic development of the students and make them all-rounders. Mr.Giriraaj Gupta had planned the quiz in a very systematic manner so that relevant and intricate questions can be asked from the students on different subjects which included questions on Maths, Science, and English. All the teams –A, B, and C represented all three houses, and the fourth house belonged to Apollo International School. The Quiz Master not only asked questions from the contenders but also entertained them and made them rapt with his charismatic personality. In the results which were announced, Team A was the winner, Team C bagged the second position whereas Team B stood third and Team D representing Apollo House took fourth place. The activity of the quiz was to expose the students to challenging situations and to make them prepared for all eventualities. The participants greatly enjoyed and relished the event and they seemed to be mesmerized by the melodious song sung in between the rounds to give the participants an entertaining break. Mr.D.N.Thapliyal concluded the event by saying that the teams who lost should not be discouraged and should think positively and buck up for the next round of competition that will soon be planned by Pratham Pag. He greatly applauded the winners for putting up a great show and also had words of praise for Mr Giriraaj Gupta who as described by Principal Sir-Mr.D.N.Thapliyal is a multi-faceted personality. The participants felt enthusiastic and responded fervently to all the quiz questions asked. These questions will surely enhance their performance in the Defence Competitive exam for which they have enrolled themselves at Pratham Pag.
