Notification: Mr.Umesh Kuniyal the Career Counselor explains about the new Air Force vacancies-2023

Notification By Indian Air Force Indian Air force invites young boys and girls who are Indian citizens as per the Indian Citizenship act 1955 to be recruited as commissioned officers in the Indian Air Force for both the flying duties as well as the ground duties (Technical and Non-technical). Online Applications are invited for the courses commencing in January 2023 for grant of Short Service Commission(SSC) in the flying branch and Ground Duty for the NCC Special Entry Scheme (For the flying Branch). There are 5 entries for men(SSC) and 5 entries for women. Detailed notification is available on the website https://careerindianairforce.cdac.in or https://afcat.cdac.in The candidates are requested to properly read the notifications and understand the details before filling out the online forms. The criteria for the purpose of shortlisting the candidates are also mentioned. Training of the candidates who get selected will commence in the first week of 2023 for all the courses at Air force Academy Dundigal (Hyderabad). The duration is 52 weeks at Air force training establishments. Benefits and allowance along with the designated ranks in the Indian Air force will be available to the candidate once the selection round gets completed. Doon Defence Academy provides all the necessary technical support with its computer laboratory and support staff to help the candidates fill out the form, prepare for their exam and do all the required formalities attached to recruitment in the armed forces to a rank and designation of pride and honor in wonderful coveted uniforms. For Flying cadets, the age should be 20 to 24 and for the ground duties, the age should be between 20 to 26 as per the rules and protocol of the Indian Air force. The last date to fill out the form is 30th December 2022. Registration for online applications will open on 1st December 2022 at 11 am and will close on 30th December at 5 pm.
