MATHEMATICAL STRATEGY TO CRACK THE NDA EXAM PAPER- INTERVIEW WITH MR.SANDEEP VERMA-THE MATHEMATICS FACULTY In the online interview, the Anchor Mr.Anil Rawat welcomed Mr. Sandeep Verma-the Mathematics faculty who has been working with Sandeep Sir’s DDA for the last 13 years. The first question asked by the anchor was the most important topic that the student should devote his time to. Mr.Sandeep Verma replied that the preparation depends on the number of days, the student has for the preparation. He confessed that the student does not get adequate time to prepare for the September NDA or CDSE written exam paper as there are only 4 months to prepare. The topics for which the weightage is more should be covered first and given priority and the topics for which the weightage is less should be covered later. Matrix and determinant have more weightage. It is important to make the hierarchy to get through in the paper. The students ignore the topics which they did not prepare well in their 11th and 12th are ignored. However difficult the topic is, if the weightage is more, the topic should not be ignored. Every subject has its importance. There are 120 questions from Mathematics and so the student has to increase the time for the topic or subject in which he is weak and the student should be consistent with those topics in which he or she is strong. The latest pattern shows that the academic level has escalated. The study material for Mathematics belonging to Sandeep Sir’s DDA has been researched well and the latest pattern of NDA exam is taken into account to update the study material and so the updated study material is of great help. The students belonging to the Biology and Arts group are unable to do difficult topics and so they need to pay more attention to the GAT part and then do selective study, then it is possible to clear the paper. Garima was a Biology student who did her study strategically. Pressure is created on those students who do not follow a specific routine in their everyday study but those students who follow the regular pattern of study will never be pressurized. Weekly Unit tests including Mock tests and Test series help the students realize their mistakes and those mistakes should not be repeated. Mock tests and Test series help the student learn the way how they should select the questions as per their preparation and knowledge and improve their speed and accuracy. Selected questions done strategically can help the students crack their NDA written exam.
