Lakhan Singh A Pratham Pag Student who Won a Gold Medal In Judo Competition Shared His Experience
LAKHAN-A PRATHAM PAG STUDENT WON A GOLD MEDAL IN A JUDO COMPETITION DURING THE KHEL MAHA KUMBHA ‘LAURELS AND MEDALS SYMBOLIZE HARD WORK AND A STEELY RESOLVE TO ACHIEVE THE IMPOSSIBLE’ Pratham Pag –the Foundation wing of DDA where the students follow their CBSE curriculum of eleventh and twelfth along with the Defence preparatory classes to get recruitment in the armed forces. One of the special features of Pratham Pag is the fact that not only does it provide the students with the academic environment needed to qualify for their written NDA exam but they also train the students for various life skills and the students participate immensely in all the extracurricular activities as well. One such stalwart is Lakhan of whom the entire Pratham Pag fraternity is immensely proud. Lakhan a Pratham Pag prodigy has made history by earning a Gold Medal in the Judo Competition during the Khel Maha Kumbh 2022 and there cannot be a greater honor for his alma mater-Pratham Pag. Mr. Tarun his physical trainer shared the fact that Lakhan went through a tough fight to get the Gold medal in the Judo competition at the district level and even at the State level, his commendable performance made him win the Gold medal. He also got selected for the Judo Competition at the National Level and the Judo Competition is about to take place in Chennai between 17 to 21 February at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium for that National Level Competition, he is undergoing rigorous training. Tarun tells that winning two coveted Gold medals was indeed a remarkable and fantabulous achievement for him. He participated in the 90 Kg for the under-17 group and he is going to take part in the same category at the National Level. Lakhan Sharma from Muradabad tells that he valiantly earned to Gold medals at the District and the State level and he is undergoing rigorous preparation under the mentorship and guidance of his coach Mr. Tarun. He is motivated and aided by all his friends at DDA. He is confident of winning the Gold medal in the Judo Competition at the National Level.
