An Inter House Spell Bee Competition Was Held At Pratham Pag-The Foundation Wing of DDA
INTER-HOUSE SPELL BEE COMPETITION AT PRATHAM PAG ‘YOUR POSITIVE ACTION COMBINED WITH POSITIVE THINKING RESULTS IN SUCCESS’ An Inter House Spell Bee competition was organized on the 22nd of April 2023 in the DDA Hall for the students of Pratham Pag to participate and show their expertise in being able to spell out the difficult words. After the competition was conducted class-wise and the most deserving students could make it to the final selection list, the competition was held in two rounds –the first was the written round and the second was to enunciate the word verbally. After all, contenders were given equal opportunity as per the rules of the competition, Thal and Vayu House shared the first position whereas Jal House bagged the second position. Deepak Dev got the first position on the basis of individual evaluation of scores with the highest score of 30 points in the aggregate whereas Utkarsh Kumar(Jal), Ayush Lohar(Jal) got 25 marks individually along with Gautam Kumar(Vayu), and Adarsh Tiwari(Vayu) and all these four students were conferred the second position in the competition. The third position was won by Shiva Krishna with a score of 20 marks. It was indeed a competition to enhance the vocabulary of the students and also to imbibe in them the spirit of healthy competition. On this occasion, the officer in charge was Mr. Sumit Panwar and the scorers were Mr Sachin Gupta and Ms Sadhna Uniyal. “Doon Defence Academy” (DDA) was founded by Ex-Submariner Sandeep Gupta, Indian Navy (retd) in the year 2005. Under his excellent leadership, the well renowned Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy is motivating, inspiring and guiding our young generation to join the Indian Armed Forces and the Merchant Navy. The aim of DDA is to impart quality education to its students which is directed to make them qualify for a job in the defence sector after completing their high school certification. DDA is one of its kind in India. Here, we have structured the courses in a manner so as to aid the lower medium and medium strata of our society.
