FIVE DDA STALWARTS WERE REWARDED WITH A CASH PRIZE OF 10 THOUSAND FOR GETTING SELECTED IN INDIAN AIR FORCE ‘NOTHING CAN STAND BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR GOAL TILL THE TIME YOU ARE PERSEVERANT AND LABORIOUS’ An award function was organized at Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy in which the Director –Mr Sandeep Gupta, the Academic Head Mr. Uday Mehra, and many other members of Sandeep Sir’s DDA were present to witness the event. The award ceremony was conducted to honor the stalwarts of Sandeep Sir’s DDA and to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the DDA students and educators to achieve the target of cracking the Defence competitive exam successfully and to offer a tribute to the sincere efforts of the youngsters in becoming worthy individuals with the caliber and a dynamic personality to metamorphose into cadets and dynamic officers. As pledged by the Director, he is enthused at the idea of giving cash prize money of 10,000 to motivate and inspire the students to work hard. The Director wished everyone a Happy Independence Day and said that he was greatly delighted to confer the honor of such awards to meritorious students. He said that 10,000 rupees is not a very big amount and the Director told that the money should be used to buy something which reminds them of Sandeep Sir’s DDA. All 4 students who got selected for Indian Air Force are given the awards. The Director told about the new building ‘NALANDA’ which has accommodated a big canteen, a computer laboratory, two floors for new classrooms and a studio on the top floor. On 15th August 2005, the foundation of Sandeep Sir’s DDA was laid and so it is on the occasion of Independence Day that he would like to inaugurate the new additions to his Doon Defence Academy. All achievers were given envelopes containing the money. Mr. Sandeep Verma Sir was invited to confer the cash prize to Vipin, Mr Udai Mehra and Mr. Khandwal Sir were invited to confer the cash prize to Ravinder, Mr Giriraj Sir was invited to give the cash prize to Abhishek, Mr. Khandwal Sir and Ms. Divya Aswal Gupta were called to give the cash prize of 10,000 to Lavish. Then the Director called all the fortunate students were called to share their views with the audience. All the stalwarts were grateful to Sandeep Sir for his extraordinary contribution to motivating the students due to which they have achieved the target they have attained. All the students were told to inform their peers who had got their selection confirmed. Sidhanshu Pal arrived late and he too was awarded the cash prize of 10,000. The Director said that the money was not important but the cash prize is a blessing for the students. There was a testimony by Sidhanshu Pal for his gratitude to Sandeep Sir’s DDA. He motivated other students also to come to DDA to get their training. He said that the best thing was the most conducive environment at DDA which helps you achieve your goal.
