ABP BROADCAST A PROGRAM –‘UTTAR PRADESH KE ANMOL RATNA’ WITH SANDEEP SIR’S DDA AND THE GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF DDA RETIRED NAVY SUBMARINER MR SANDEEP SIR STARTED A DEFENCE INSTITUTE-DOON DEFENCE ACADEMY TO PREPARE THE FUTURE CADETS OF OUR COUNTRY Thousands of students wish to serve their country in the armed forces whether it is Army, Navy, or Air Force. The DDA Director and the retired Naval Submariner Mr Sandeep Gupta not only served the country as a submariner but also served the country by starting his own Defence Coaching Institute through which he has become a beacon of hope and a guiding light for all the Defence and Merchant Navy aspirants. The dreams of all those aspirants are fulfilled by the extraordinary personality Mr Sandeep Gupta who is dedicated to this noble task for the last two decades. He provides training to the students to empower them with the skills required by the cadets in the armed forces and helps them crack the Defence competitive exams of NDA/CDSE/OTA/AFCAT and IMU-CUET with his team of experts who are retired army personnel and RIMC retired professionals. The mission is to provide youngsters with such caliber to the youngsters with the objective to make them robust and dynamic soldiers. The transformation of the youngsters does not happen within a short time. It takes a lot of practice and a lot of dedication on the part of the students also to become what is expected of them. The Director also appeared with a short formal address on the ABP Channel in the program ‘Uttar Pradesh ke Anmol Ratna. He shared with the viewers the fact that the foundation of Doon Defence Academy was laid on 15th August 2005 and 18 years are about to be completed. He shared that he faced a lot of problems in getting information about how to become a part of the Indian Navy. From then on, he made it his mission to become a guide to the students who aspire to join the armed forces and to motivate the youngsters to join the armed forces. The DDA Director Mr Sandeep Gupta faced a lot of difficulties to make his institute come to the rank of number one. But as it is said, a true soldier knows how to handle new challenges. So it is true of Mr. Sandeep Gupta also. He started his institute with just a small room with only a limited number of students. He was the one to teach and he was the one to advertise, he was the one to do all the computer work and he was the one to handle the queries. He had limited resources. Today, More than 12,500 students are successfully recruited in the Indian Armed Forces and Merchant Navy. The number is constantly on the rise. There is no such battalion, no such department in Air Force, Army, and Navy where his students have not shown exemplary caliber. The way, gold becomes more luminous after going through the fiery cauldron, the same way, Mr Sandeep Gupta became a celebrity after being burnt in the cauldron of challenges. It sounds very easy and very simple but actually, it was a tough nut to crack. He is such a personality who has inculcated in the youngsters such values of patriotism and loyalty to enhance the National pride by becoming ideals and exemplary figures for the rest of the people and they can have the courage, valor, and the skills of being undaunted in attaining their objective however hard the challenge may be for them. When a candidate comes for admission to pursue his career in NDA, the Director checks the parameters of medical eligibility, academic eligibility, and whether the candidate is passionate to go into the armed forces or not. Only those students who fulfill all the given parameters get the training at Sandeep Sir’s DDA. The students are not just mentally prepared but also physically prepared for all challenges. A strict routine of physical exercises and classes is followed at DDA which teaches them discipline, teamwork, and the quality of helping their peers. Children do not perform when the training becomes a burden for them. Children perform better if they enjoy the sessions. The training at Sandeep Sir’s DDA is such that the students also enjoy their training along with the knowledge that is essential for their personality development. The Director also emphasized the mood and mindset of the students to be perseverant. Both boys and girls are given equal treatment and there is no gender bias at DDA. A large number of girls have been selected for NDA, Merchant Navy, and other Defence-related fields. Girls are in no way inferior in their performance as compared to boys. Here, the factor which counts the most is not money but emotions. A student lost his father and when the student informed the Director, the Director gave him 100 percent compensation for the student. A DDA student is taught that his duty is not merely restricted to protecting his country but also the well-being of all his countrymen. This is the reason why the DDA Director Mr Sandeep Gupta is conferred with the title of ‘Uttar Pradesh Ke Anmol Ratna.
