Diwali – 2022 Cultural Program At Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy | DDA Celebrates Diwali
“MAY YOUR LIFE BLOOM WITH JOY AND MAY YOUR LIFE BE CHERISHED WITH THE FESTIVE FERVOUR AND BLESSINGS OF THE ALMIGHTY The Directors of DDA- Sandeep Sir and Mrs. Divya Aswal Gupta inaugurated the Diwali celebration in the DDA Campus on the 19th of October 2022. On the auspicious day of Diwali, the ceremony began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp while reciting a prayer verse as a beacon of hope and light to be brought into everyone’s life. All the members of Team DDA sang the National Anthem.This event featured a cultural stage display that exhibited the spirit of the festival when students and all the faculty and staff members gathered officially to wish each other and were entertained with stage performances of regional dances like Rajasthani Dance and folk dance signifying the unity in diversity that makes all Indians special and unique in the entire world. A poetic Verse was recited by Naveen Sir. Deepak Bhatt Sir performed a dance to a Punjabi Song. Deshbandu Sir danced to the musical beats of a Garhwali Song. Some students sang melodious songs, mimicry, western dance, and a comedy play with the title “Story of a Mathematics teacher. The girls from the NDA batch performed a group dance. Mr.Umesh Uniyal –the academic head performed a dance on a Bollywood song. The participants were dazzled in their glittering costumes and the musical dance performances created great excitement among the audience, keeping them captivated with the rhythmic beat of the music. The DDA children showed great exuberance at witnessing the stage shows. One diya was lit to pay a tribute to all the martyrs who gave their lives in defence of their country to dispel the darkness which envelopes their families on account of the gloom due to the loss of their beloved family member and to commemorate their sacrifice. It is our duty to recall the sacrifice and the selfless service done by them. The event was witnessed by the Directors, the staff, and faculty members along with the DDA students. Sandeep Sir conveyed his heartfelt wishes on this auspicious occasion of Diwali that everyone to have a wonderful Diwali with their family and he wishes for the success and happiness of all the staff members and students. He wishes that the lives of all shows are illuminated with the light of joy and happiness and that the dreams of all come true as expected and anticipated by them. The event culminated with a motivational speech by honorable Director Sandeep Sir who also sang a song and later he also addressed the audience including the staff and the students. In the end, a group photo was clicked to capture the momentous occasion. Cash prizes were awarded to the meritorious students of DDA specifically those who performed outstandingly in the weekly tests. Special Cash prizes were given to those students who had cleared their NDA written exam successfully. The staff and faculty members were given Diwali gifts as a token of appreciation for their hard work. The event ended with a tea party that was hosted for the DDA staff and teachers. It was indeed a memorable event for all to be together as DDA family in the celebration.
