DDA Inaugurated The Felicitation Ceremony Of Pratham Pag Magazine-2022-23

 

“ACHIEVEMENTS MAKE YOU PROUD OF YOUR HARDWORK AND RECOGNITION GIVES YOU A BOOST TO REACH GREATER HEIGHTS” On the 22nd of February 2023, Doon Defence Academy conducted the inauguration for the ceremonious launch of the first Pratham Pag magazine issued for the year 2022-23. The Director Mr Sandeep Gupta, the Deputy Director Mrs Divya Aswal Gupta, Pratham Pag Principal Mr D.N.Thapliyal, the academic Head and Career Counsellor Mr Umesh Kuniyal, DDA Editor Mrs Kiran Sharma, the IT department members presided over the event which took place in the presence of Pratham Pag students and the staff and faculty members of DDA. The Director Mr Sandeep Gupta addressed the audience and expressed elation at the launch of the First Pratham Pag magazine which indeed is a panoramic overview of all the achievements made by Pratham Pag so far including the achievements of the students in extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. The Special Guests included Capt Sudhir Singh Chaudhary who is also ex-Principal of Mumbai Maritime Training Institute and the Top most marine faculty of Post sea training and Capt Prabhat Goyal –the ongoing master mariner V ship management. The special guests were conferred with the honour of issuing the first copy of the Pratham Pag magazine. The editor of Pratham Pag also received the honour of issuing the first copy of the magazine. The Special Guests addressed the audience and specially told anecdotal accounts of their own journey through various odds about how they reached spectacular heights of success. The Director expressed his gratitude to the special guests who had spared their precious time from their busy schedules to come to DDA to motivate the students. The Special guests made the students realize the value of hard work and told them how they have a special role to play in terms of training the mariners in the art of sea-faring skills lacking in Indian youths and which has indeed become the cause of Indians losing jobs to the Philippines and how they were striving to work consistently to train the Indian youth in the sea-faring skills. It was indeed an enlightening session for the students as well as the staff members and a very proud moment for the Directors Mr Sandeep Gupta and Mrs Divya Aswal Gupta. The magazine was given the name “Trishakti”.Altogether, the IT department also felt equally proud of this great achievement. As an Editor of DDA, I too express gratitude to the Directors for giving me this opportunity to showcase my creative skills. The event culminated with a vote of thanks.
