Addressing the condolence meeting, DDA director Sandeep Gupta said, ′′ I still can’t believe that CDS Vipin Rawat is no more among us. He also said that CDS along with Vipin Rawat others should be remembered.
He said that he continued to support every matter related to ex-soldiers and soldiers and each of the Uttarakhandi brothers and their family members. It is a personal and irreparable loss for me to see him being so deadly in this unfortunate accident.
′′ It is a very emotional and disturbing moment for the entire state he said. Due to birth in Uttarakhand, CDS Vipin Rawat had a special attachment to this earth. Perhaps this was the reason why the country and the state were getting more support than they expected in the state’s military affairs. Whether it’s the question of height concession to youths in army recruitment or setting up VROs in the state, whether it’s the matter of setting up two battalions of Territorial Army in the state or opening a Gorkha Regiment Recruitment Center, Uttarakhand His cooperation was received on every matter related to the state.
Special attachment of CDS from Uttarakhand
̕ Youth of Uttarakhand got 05 cm exemption due to the height standards of army recruitment.
̕ Vipin Rawat had given theoretical consent to establish BRO in Pithoragarh to provide opportunity to youth of the state in army recruitment.
