Cultural Program Organized For Our Students At DDA | Creativity Is Intelligence Having Fun

DDA PRODIGIES EXHIBITED THEIR CREATIVE TALENT IN POETRY RECITATION, DANCE, AND MANY OTHER ENTERTAINMENT SKILLS ON STAGE- Dehradun: A cultural workshop was organized by Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy for the DDA students on 27th May 2023. The main objective of the Cultural workshop was to provide a platform for the students to exhibit their hidden potential and their latent and innate skills and development of their personalities to the fullest extent. The stage performances by the participants to entertain the audience mesmerized everyone. A DDA student Kritika Singh recited a lyrical verse to enthrall and stupefy everyone with her outstanding creativity in composing poems. The poetic verse was on the theme of daughters in reference to their importance in a family or country. In single dance performance, Nishu came into the limelight and Urmilla Gahlot, Ishita, Chetna, Mehandi, Jyoti, Ishika, Deepali, Nilaakshi, Rishika, and Navdha performed a graceful group dance on a mellifluous musical symphony which indeed compelled everyone to come to the dance floor and rock the dance with their frenetic dance moves. Shrijita Mahto, Bipasha Sinha, Yashi, and Ishita’s solo singing stage performance one by one was equally spell-binding and sensational and they received loud applause from the onlookers through cheers of appreciation and reverberation of loud clapping sounds manifesting the exhilaration and joy of the spectators. Kritika Singh also performed a stage mimicry on the speaking and teaching style of the DDA faculty. The highlight of the celebration was the dance performed by the DDA Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta thrilled the audience to the core when he frisked and frolicked on the Bollywood song ‘Papa Kahate hai’ and his hilarious performance on the stage forcing everyone to share the dance floor. The event culminated with the formal address by the DDA Director Mr Sandeep Gupta who advocated to the students how these creative pursuits also rejuvenate our minds and reenergize us to be ready for future challenges. These creative pursuits help to bring about holistic development of the child including mental, physical, emotional,social, and intellectual. The program was skillfully anchored by Kritika Singh and Bipasha Sinha together. On this occasion, the faculty members who were present included Dr. Giriraj Gupta, Jyoti Rai, Taranum Khan, and the PTI Manju Bhandari.
