The infrastructure of Doon Defence Academy is indeed remarkable with the most advanced features of training and preparation. The obstacle ground of SSB, where the training is imparted by the most experienced faculty Ravi Sir includes a plethora of activities which include –Tarzan Swing, Double platform jump, Commando walk, Double ditch, Single Ramp, Zig Zag beam to name a few. These physical activities make their preparation equally adventurous and exciting. Not only do these activities give the candidate a robust build and good physic but it is also a part of their preparation for SSB. A regular routine of these activities can only be conducted in the palatial quarters of Doon Defence Academy and it is indeed an indispensable part of their SSB preparation. It ensures their holistic development along with their selection. Weekly tests are conducted on a regular basis so as to escalate the academic standard of the students. Group discussions are held from time to time and physical training which is an indispensable feature of the Army, Navy and Air force is the hallmark of Doon Defence Academy.
