CDSE ALONG WITH ACADEMICS, PHYSICAL EXERCISE IS AS IMPORTANT INNUMERABLE PHYSICAL TRAINERS AND COACHES FOR DDA STUDENTS “A HEALTHY MIND STAYS IN A HEALTHY BODY” Dehradun: Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy also keeps organizing various extra-curricular activities along with academics for the DDA stalwarts with the objective of making them physically strong and healthy as a healthy mind stays in a healthy body. It is important to give time to your body to exercise so that the mind remains fresh and the lost energy can be rejuvenated through various body postures to help gain health and stability. The exercises include various body exercises taught correctly by the various coaches. The students have been divided into two groups and the physical exercises are taught to them in two shifts. The two physical trainers Mr. Mahavir Singh Rawat and Manju Bhandari informed us that if any candidate wishes to join the armed forces, he or she not only needs to be good in academics but also should be physically agile and active and this agility and physical stamina can be retained only when the candidate devotes a part of his day to physical exercise. Also, it is important that if a candidate wishes to have a regular routine without losing attention and focus on his academics, the candidate needs to be physically active and exercise. If a student remains calm, composed, and in a positive mindset due to exercise, it will benefit the candidate only and no one else. The most suitable time for the students to exercise is from 5.30 to 6.30 in the morning and from 4.30 to 5.30 in the evening.
