Abhishek A DDA Student who got Selected in Airforce Agniveer-Shared his Experience with DDA Students

ABHISHEK-A DDA STUDENT SELECTED SUCCESSFULLY IN THE AGNIVEER VAYU-2023 BATCH “SUCCESS IS THE SUM OF SMALL EFFORTS, REPEATED DAY-IN, AND DAY OUT” Mr.Umesh Kuniyal addressed the students and asked them if the students who belonged to the Air Force batch are seriously preparing for the exam as the Exam for the Agniveer Vayu is going to be held between the 18th of January and 23rd of January and the students are motivated to put their heart and soul and strive hard for selection as per the guidelines and counseling given by DDA faculty members. Mr.Umesh Kuniyal-the academic coordinator introduced the NDA students to a DDA student who joined the academy in 2019 to prepare for his NDA written and SSB interview. He could not qualify for the NDA written and once when he did qualify, he could not make it to the SSB interview. He completed his one year of academic classes at DDA and learned a lot here. He then appeared for the exam held on 25th July to get selected in Agniveer Vayu and this time, his selection was confirmed. He is going for his training to Belgaum in Karnataka for his rudimentary training on 25th December 2022. Abhishek was invited to address the audience in a class preparing for Air Force Agniveer to be held between the 18th of January 2023 and to 23rd of January 2023. He told the students that when he came to DDA in 2019, he did not know anything. He was completely a novice about how he would get his selection confirmed without any direction. He feels indebted to DDA faculty members who really worked very hard to teach him and train him in the basics of all the subjects like Maths, Physics, English, and General Awareness. He felt grateful to Nitin Sir for his English Classes, to Mr.Prakash Khandelwal for the General awareness classes, and to Mr.Vivek Uniyal for his Physics classes which really proved very beneficial to him. All the DDA teachers including Mr.Sandeep Gupta motivated him immensely. He suggested to the students to just work hard as per what DDA tells them. Mr. Anil Rawat asked him what he had planned to be among the 25 percent Agniveers who are going to be retained by the armed forces to which he replied that he is going to maintain his job profile well, listen to his commanding officer and be respectful and obedient to them, follow the code of decorum, avoid making too many mistakes and learn from his mistakes, and take fewer holidays. When he was asked how he got to know about DDA, he answered that he came to know about it through the newspapers and the Internet. He selected DDA because he acknowledged the fact that DDA is the one and only institute with a track record of the highest selection of students after RIMC. Though Abhishek did not look like he was absolutely zero as he gained enough confidence to communicate in a group, he seemed very authentic about what he said. He further suggested the DDA students just work hard as per the DDA guidelines and do what the teachers tell them including the home assignments and the selection will get assured. He wished the students all the best for their future endeavors and the entire DDA fraternity congratulated him on his grand success.
