74th Republic Day Celebration At Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy

LET US MAKE A PROMISE THAT WE WOULD NOT LET THE HARD SACRIFICES OF OUR BRAVE FIGHTERS GO IN VAIN. WE WOULD WORK HARD TO MAKE OUR COUNTRY THE BEST IN THE WORLD Republic day was observed at Doon Defence Academy on 26th January 2023 with the celebration of the day with a cultural program prepared by the students of Pratham Pag and Doon Defence Academy on the DDA campus. Republic day was celebrated with much fanfare in the presence of the Directors Mr Sandeep Gupta and Mrs. Divya Aswal Gupta, the members of the administration including the Pratham Pag Principal Mr. D.N.Thapliyal, the Academic head Mr.Umesh Kuniyal along with the teachers and students of Pratham Pag and Doon Defence Academy. After the formal welcome of the Chief Guest Rear Admiral Om Prakash Singh Rana, who inaugurated the occasion with Saraswati Vandana, Pratham Pag students presented their stage program first. STAGE PERFORMANCE BY PRATHAM PAG STUDENTS The cultural program was a Variety Entertainment program with sensational stage performances displayed by talented students in the ambiance of patriotic fervor having the musical backdrop of soulful patriotic rendition by the orchestra group of students. The program commenced with an inspiring speech on the relevance of the day in English by Gautam Kumar from Pratham Pag and in Hindi by Aditya Tripathi. The program was anchored and coordinated by Shiva Krishna and Deepansh Srivastava. A solo dance performance by Kavya Gurung was followed by a drama(mime)by Vayu house which enraptured the audience. Devpreet Singh presented a solo dance followed by a graceful group dance performance by Jal House. Shubhodeep Chatterjee’s sensational song made the audience spellbound which was followed by Bhangra-a group dance performance by Thal House. STAGE PRESENTATION BY DOON DEFENCE ACADEMY After the students of Pratham Pag had displayed their stage program, the stage was taken over by the students of Doon Defence Academy students. The program was then anchored by Jaya who invited Sadhna to deliver the Republic day speech in English. Thereafter Kajal enunciated the Gaytri Mantra. A song by Arun put the stage on fire. Akshay performed a dance. Anmol enthused everyone by presenting an interesting Rap. Kajal articulated certain unknown facts about Republic day. Akshad took over the stage with his feat on beatboxing. Shiva recited a verse that was enchanting. Shubham also mesmerized the listeners with a melodious song and so did Shri Chand Sir with his flute performance. Rajesh Sir entertained everyone with a Bollywood song and Rahul Sir and Suraj Sir each shared a verse which made the entire program really entertaining and fun-filled. The event culminated with a vote of thanks being proposed by Jaya-a DDA student.
