INDIAN NAVY 10+2 (B.TECH) EXAMINATION
Applications are invited from unmarried male candidates (fulfilling the conditions of nationality as laid down by the Govt. of India) for becoming Permanent Commissioned Officers in Executive and Technical branches under 10+2 (B. Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme after undergoing four year B Tech course at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
WHO CAN APPLY
Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) – 2024 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech). Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2024 published by NTA.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
(a) Naval Headquarters reserves the right to fix the cut-off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2024. All candidates are required to fill their Rank as per Common Rank List (CRL) in the application. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Kolkata/ Visakhapatnam from Mar 2025 onwards.
(b) Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interviews through e-mail and SMS (provided by candidates in their application form). Candidates are advised not to change their e-mail/ mobile number till the selection process is over.
(c) Change of SSB Centre for examination/ interview is not permissible under any circumstances.
(d) Candidates are to download the call-up letter on receiving intimation from IHQ MoD (N) via SMS/email (provided by candidates in their application). Any correspondence regarding the change of SSB dates should be addressed to the call-up officer of the concerned SSB on receipt of the call-up letter.
(e) No compensation is admissible in case of any injury sustained as a result of tests during SSB interviews.
(f) AC 3-tier rail fare is admissible for the SSB interview if appearing for the first time for a particular type of commission. Candidates are required to bring a photocopy of the first page of pass book or cheque leaf where the name, A/C No. & IFSC details are mentioned while appearing for SSB.
MERIT LIST
A merit list would be prepared based on SSB marks. Candidates declared fit in the medical examination would be appointed subject to police verification and character verification & availability of vacancies in the entry.
HOW TO APPLY
Candidates are to register and submit their application on the recruitment website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. To save time during the application submission window, candidates can fill in their details and upload documents in advance under their user profile. The procedure for applying online is explained below.
(a) Online (e-application) : Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:-
(i) Correct filling up of personal particulars details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate/12th class certificate.
(ii) Fields such as e-mail address, and mobile number are mandatory fields and need to be filled.
(b) All relevant documents (preferably in original), Date of Birth proof (as per 10th/12th certificates), 10th class marksheet, 12th class marksheet, JEE(Main)-2024 Score card {indicating Common Rank List (CRL)} and a recent passport size colour photograph should be scanned in original JPG/TIFF format, for attaching the same while filling up the application. Candidates are to take a printout of the application and carry it along with original certificates/ documents as mentioned in Para 10(b) while appearing for the SSB interview.
(c) If any scanned document is not legible/ readable for any reason the application will be rejected.
(d) The application once submitted will be final and no request for amendments/change will be entertained.
Note :- (a) Please read the instructions given on the website carefully before finally submitting your online application.
(b) Your candidature will be cancelled if any declaration is found wrong at any stage of selection.
(c) Only unmarried candidates are eligible for training. Any candidate who is found to be married or marries while under training will be discharged from service and shall be liable to refund full training cost including pay & allowances and any other expenditure incurred on the candidate by the Government.
(d) Use/ possession of narcotics is banned. Candidate may be tested for the presence of drugs in the body during SSB selection/ medicals/ training and subsequently during service. If a candidate is found to be using/ in possession of narcotics during any time of selection/ medicals/ training/ service career, the candidate would be debarred from joining the Indian Navy or be removed from service if already joined.
