Tricolor hoisted gracefully in DDA on Republic DayDehradun. India’s 73rd Republic Day was celebrated with simplicity all over the country as well as at the Doon Defence Academy.The 73rd Republic was celebrated with simplicity at the Doon Defence Academy, located on Sahastradhara Road in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun, following the COVID-19 guide line issued by the government. Sandeep Gupta, Director of the Academy hoisted the tricolor in the Academy campus and said on the occasion that the Constitution of our country gives us the freedom to live freely and have our say. Giving details of the foundation course to be run by DDA on this occasion, he said that today on this auspicious occasion, DDA is going to introduce foundation course for children of 11th and 12th standard. Dda Director Sandeep Gupta’s Navy batch mates Rajnish Kumar, Baljit Rana, Deepak Tyagi, Inderjit Sama, DS Rawat and Umesh Kuniyal, as well as Foundation Course Head Dharmanand Thapliyal, while the staff members included office in-charge Rajesh Kandwal, Emission Coordinator RD Pant, Student Development Officer Manbar Singh, Academic Head Uday Mehra and others were present on the occasion.
