Message of De-addiction Given to DDA Students – Theatrical Performance on the Second Day of the Uttarakhand Uday National Theatre Festival, ‘Jashn-e-Virasat’ – Organized by Vardan Sanstha and Tasveer Art Group On the second day of the Uttarakhand Uday National Theatre Festival organized by Vardan Sanstha and Tasveer Art Group, two plays were performed. At Doon Defence Academy, artists from Rangmanch Ke Saathi Group, Uttar Pradesh, presented a street play conveying the message of de-addiction under the guidance of Sandeep Sir. The event took place at Doon Defence Academy on Sahastradhara Road, with Chief Guest Tajbar Singh Jaggi, Additional Commissioner, Food Safety & Drug Administration and Drug Controller, along with Academy Director Sandeep Gupta, Vardan Sanstha’s patron Dr. Sunil Agarwal, and General Secretary Anil Chandola jointly inaugurating the program. Following this, artists from Rangmanch Ke Saathi Theatre Group from Uttar Pradesh delivered a powerful performance, encouraging youth to stay away from drugs. The students were also administered an oath to remain drug-free. Chief Guest Tajbar Singh emphasized that students preparing for careers in defense should have a strong passion for wearing the uniform, which requires them to stay far away from harmful substances like drugs to achieve their goals. DDA Director Sandeep Gupta expressed that artists are effectively communicating the harmful effects of drug addiction in an entertaining manner, urging youth to adopt a drug-free lifestyle. Present on the occasion were Umesh Kuniyal, along with all the teachers and students of the academy.
