SANDEEP SIR’S DDA OPENS NEW DOORS TO GIRL CANDIDATES ALSO IN FOUNDATION COURSE AS WELL ‘THERE IS ALWAYS LIGHT, IF ONLY WE ARE BRAVE ENOUGH TO SEE IT. IF ONLY WE WERE BRAVE ENOUGH TO BE IT’ Registrations at Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy begin. The DDA Director Mr Sandeep Gupta has opened doors for the girls in the Foundation Wing of Doon Defence Academy by planning to give them admission in class eleventh of the Foundation Course with the objective of providing them the opportunity to step into the armed forces by successfully clearing the Defence-related competitions like NDA, OTA, AFCAT, CDSE, etc through their preparation for the competitive exams along with their academic preparation for the eleventh and twelfth class in CBSE board. Likewise, the boys can also seek admission in classes 8, 9, and 11 to complete their academics till 12th in the CBSE board. When the first batch of the Foundation wing started last year, only the boys were given admission but now slowly and steadily, there are welcome changes as the girl candidates also are given admission in class 11th for next year in 2024-25. Preparations are in full swing to provide admission to students in classes 8, 9, and 11 for the next academic year (2024-25). As the number of seats is limited, the first come, first serve motto will work best. There are merely 40 seats for girls in class 11th and in class 8th, there are 40 seats for boys, in class 9th there are 40 seats(boys) and in class 11th there are 60 seats for boys. The DDA Director Mr Sandeep Gupta also informed that along with the academic curriculum-related study of classes 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th, preparation for NDA and Merchant Navy will also be well taken care of. The students will also be exposed to a plethora of activities like SSB Interview preparation, Sports, Spoken English, Educational tours and excursions, physical exercise, drills, parade training, and Online test series. Other than the personality development sessions conducted here, the students are sometimes taken out for a movie also. For admission, the students need to first register themselves on the official website and then appear for an online interview and an entrance test. If the student fulfills all the terms and conditions of admission, the parents along with the student can visit the DDA official head office for further process related to admission.
