He came to Dehradun with his father and both the son and the father were lured by the taxi drivers and autorickshaw drivers. These drivers tried to lure them by offering them a free ride to the academy where they wanted to go. As the two were determined to reach only DDA, they did not fall prey to the temptations and refused to be taken. They went to the house of their relatives and with their help, both of them reached Doon Defence Academy for the purpose of getting admission to the institute as the son was highly ambitious to attain a prestigious position as an officer or cadet in the armed forces for the sake of making his family self-sufficient. Due to the large number of Institutes with almost similar names as the Doon Defence Academy, it was quite baffling but the family finally was able to choose DDA correctly after much analysis that DDA was indeed the best. Another candidate named Divyanshu also wanted to seek admission at DDA as he intends to go in for NDA. First, he was preparing for NEET but due to his lack of interest in Biology, he intended to go for NDA.
