INDIAN NAVY AGNIVEER SSR –RAMAN AWARDED TEN THOUSAND FOR FINAL SELECTION RAMAN WAS HONOURED WITH 10,000 AT SANDEEP SIR’S DDA FOR HIS FINAL SELECTION IN THE NAVY THROUGH THE AGNIVEER SCHEME OF THE GOVERNMENT- Sandeep Sir’s DDA awarded a sum of 10,000 to the DDA stalwart Raman for his commendable selection in the Indian Navy through the Agniveer entry scheme. The entire DDA team welcomed him and congratulated the DDA student for getting selected for the Indian Navy through Agniveer. An award ceremony was organized at Sandeep Sir’s DDA and Raman was honored by the DDA staff and faculty members along with the DDA students with a cash prize of 10,000 to motivate all the other DDA students preparing for various distinguished positions in the armed forces. This custom of awarding the cash prize money has indeed been set up as a benchmark of Doon Defence Academy and due to the custom of honoring the students, the DDA students come back to share their unique experience with their compatriots. Raman shared his experience with the DDA students about how he suffered major setbacks when his father expired. It was only after he overcame the grief and performed the funeral ceremony, he began studying full-time with great concentration. He came to DDA for his NDA preparation but due to many obstacles, he could not pursue his goal. Finally, he made it to Indian Navy through the Agniveer scheme and is awarded 10,000 for his hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
