CDSE EXCURSION FOR PRATHAM PAG STUDENTS An excursion was organized on the 7th of May 2023 for the students of Pratham Pag students and the Students enjoying their wonderful trekking activity conducted under the strict supervision of the Pratham Pag mentors and faculty members escorting them during the trek and also giving instructions regarding the purpose of organizing the trek. All the wardens and PTI along with the DDA director Sandeep Gupta Sir. After trekking the students enjoyed freaking on a scenic location at Sahastradhara. The main objective of the trekking excursion was to develop the student’s awareness regarding a robust physique that is indeed imperative to get success as a cadet and an officer in the armed forces. The students also develop social skills and other inter personal skills when they take part in a group activity. Thus, such trekking experiences and excursions are being organized in Doon Defence Academy as a part of their training as a cadet for the armed forces. “Doon Defence Academy” (DDA) was founded by Ex-Submariner Sandeep Gupta, Indian Navy (retd) in the year 2005. Under his excellent leadership, the well renowned Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy is motivating, inspiring and guiding our young generation to join the Indian Armed Forces and the Merchant Navy. The aim of DDA is to impart quality education to its students which is directed to make them qualify for a job in the defence sector after completing their high school certification. DDA is one of its kind in India. Here, we have structured the courses in a manner so as to aid the lower medium and medium strata of our society.
