SANDEEP GUPTA AND DDA FRATERNITY DIGITAL SMART BOARDS PRESENTED BY DDA DIRECTOR MR. SANDEEP GUPTA TO THE PURUKUL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY On 17th May 2024, Colonel Abhishek was cordially invited to Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy for a guest lecture to motivate the Pratham Pag cadets who recently joined the Foundation Course of Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy to prepare for their NDA and Merchant Navy competitive exams. The event was attended by DDA Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta, Deputy Director Mrs. Divya Gupta, Foundation Wing Principal Mr. D.N.Thapliyal, Colonel Sudhir Verma, SSB Coordinator Mr. Umesh Kuniyal, Academic Head Mr. Udai Mehra, H R Mr. Sawant, Pratham Pag faculty members and cadets of Sandeep Sir’s Pratham Pag. The Program commenced with the welcome speech by Anjali a Pratham Pag cadet and the presentation of the bouquet to Colonel Abhishek Mamgai. Thereafter, he was requested to share his experience with the students about his life in the Indian Armed Forces. He elaborated on the various facets, challenges and benefits of being in the Indian Armed Forces. The Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta shared with the cadets about his own experience in Indian Navy as a Sub-mariner. The underprivileged children of the Purukal Youth Development Society were presented with a digital Smart board due to which their faces became vibrant with a cheerful smile. They expressed their immense gratitude to the Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta for the generous gesture. The Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta announced that if any student wishes to join the Indian Armed Forces can get the benefit of free Defence Coaching classes from Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy. The students from Purukul Youth Development Society visited Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy. The Director motivated the students of Pratham Pag and Purukul Youth Development Society to join the Indian Armed Forces by sharing valuable tips. The Director accentuated the fact that the Indian Armed Forces provide a golden opportunity to the youngsters by providing them the opportunities through various new openings to fulfil their dreams especially for capable students who may face challenges in pursuing expensive Professional education to those deserving students who come from disadvantaged family backgrounds. Sushmita Chatterjee, the teacher from Purukul Youth Development Society learning Academy, extensively explained the mission of their institute to acknowledge the hidden potential of the economically disadvantaged students in accessing education. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Director Mr. Sandeep Gupta for his generous gesture to give them digital boards. The students enjoyed a sumptuous meal during lunch in the dining hall of the Foundation building with Sandeep Sir. The dignitaries who presided over the event were Deputy Director Mrs. Divya Gupta, Colonel Sudhir Verma(Retd), Colonel Abhishek Mamgain(Retd), Principal Pratham Pag Mr. D.N.Thapliyal, Academic Head Udai Mehra, Centre Head Umesh Kuniyal, along with representatives of Purukul Youth Development Society Learning Academy including Sushmita Chatterjee, Geetanjali Chhabra, and Meenu Yadav. The visit of the Guest Speaker Colonel Abhishek Mamgai was an eye opener to the Defence aspirants from Pratham Pag.
