On October 8, Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy sends its greetings to the Air Force Cadre in appreciation of their honest and conscientious service to the country. It also acknowledged and recognised the sacrifices done by the Air Force cadets to maintain safety and security in our nation. We are fortunate to have been born in a nation of genuine heroes who are constantly on guard for us and keeping us secure. DOON DEFENCE ACADEMY HOLDS A WRITTEN COMPETITION TO CELEBRATE AIR FORCE DAY Doon Defence Academy has planned a competition for the DDA students to take an objective-type written test in honour of Air Force Day. There will be questions from the subjects of English, Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Science in this one-situation test. The first, second, and third place winners will get awards of Rupees 1,000, 500, and 300, respectively. The test will be held from 8.30 to 10 a.m., and DDA appreciates as much participation as possible in order for everyone to fully experience the excitement of Air Force Day on October 8. DDA wishes to extend its warmest greetings to all Indians on this auspicious day, and each Indian should be pleased to be a citizen of a nation that has achieved so much. AIR FORCE DAY CELEBRATION -80 AIR CRAFTS FLYPAST Every year on October 8, Indian Air Force Day is observed to honour and respect the Air Force of our nation. On October 8 in Chandigarh, the Indian Air Force performs a spectacular display with over 80 aircraft to commemorate its 90th anniversary. The flypast will take place above Sukhna Lake, where large crowds gather to see a parade at the IAF station and combat aircraft like the Rafale, Su-30, and Mirage 2000.
