DDA Diamonds Visited IMA to Witness the Passing Out Parade | Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy
Doon Defence Academy organized an educational excursion for the students of Doon defense Academy and Pratham Pag on 3RD December 2022. The students were taken for this excursion to envision their life ahead as army cadets and to feel honored in their coveted uniforms as a part of the armed forces. IMA trains the officers for Indian Army. The excursion was planned to commemorate Indian Navy Day which is observed on the 4th of December 2022 every year to pay homage to the naval forces for their commendable contribution to guarding the coastal areas of the nation against the enemy troops. It was in fact a fascinating and awe-inspiring sight for the cadets who are overwhelmed by their aspiration to be cadets in the armed forces and serve their country. The spectacle of the passing out parade made the students feel honored as cadets and the inspiration to become a part of the parade gets instilled in them. The students were taken to the Indian Military Academy where they could catch glimpses of the rehearsal of the passing out parade at IMA which is indeed a much-awaited and anticipated ceremony and is greatly looked forward by the cadets as well as the spectators to admire and be entertained. The contingents looked really impressive while they rehearsed in their elegantly worn Military uniforms which greatly inspired the DDA and Pratham Pag students. “Doon Defence Academy” (DDA) was founded by Ex-Submariner Sandeep Gupta, Indian Navy (retd) in the year 2005. Under his excellent leadership, the well renowned Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy is motivating, inspiring and guiding our young generation to join the Indian Armed Forces and the Merchant Navy. The aim of DDA is to impart quality education to its students which is directed to make them qualify for a job in the defence sector after completing their high school certification. DDA is one of its kind in India. Here, we have structured the courses in a manner so as to aid the lower medium and medium strata of our society.
