The award is conferred as a token of appreciation to exceptionally talented Edupreneurs who have made their country proud by upholding the ethical values and principles of honesty and integrity while constantly moving in the direction of growth in their area of expertise. On the 30th of April 2023, Sandeep Sir was invited to a felicitous function held at the Hotel Taj Vivanta in New Delhi and Edupreneurs from all across the country were invited to attend and witness the event hosted by the Asian Education Awards 2023. The Director of Doon Defence Academy Mr Sandeep Gupta received the honour of not only attending the event but also of becoming a luminary when the coveted award was honoured upon him. The event was celebrated to honour the outstanding efforts of genius minds who played an outstanding role in impeccably contributing to the growth and development of the Education Industry by training young minds to valiantly face all challenges of life and develop life skills relevant in the competitive world of the present era. The Director Mr Sandeep Gupta was overwhelmed with elation when he was given the award by the former Chief Justice of India. The Former Chief justice of India Mr KG Balakrishnan ji was invited as the Chief guest for the occasion and the Director of Doon Defence Academy Mr Sandeep Gupta was given the honours as he was conferred the prestigious award for his Educational Institute- Doon Defence Academy as the Best Defence Academy 2023. Sandeep Sir –the Director of DDA considers himself fortunate as he received the award from the former Chief Justice of India, Mr KG Balakrishnan. It was indeed the humility of the Director Mr Sandeep Gupta who gave the credit of his success to the competent DDA team of teachers and staff members. Many foreign delegates and dignitaries were present at the event like the Ambassador of Jamaica Mr Jason Keats Hall, the Ambassador of New Guinea Mr Paulias Korni etc. Many elite personalities from the armed forces also attended the function like Major Gen.Sanjay Soi (Retd.), Shri Shekhar Dutt, IAS(Retd), Former Governor of Chattisgarh Dr Jagannath, Patnaik, Vice Chancellor, ICFAI University Prof Subha Rajan, and Lt Col Rohit Mishra(Retd). Some close batchmates of Mr Sandeep Gupta also attended the event like Inderjeet Sama, Deepak Tyagi, and Rajnish Sharma. The Director Mr Sandeep Gupta was congratulated by the delegates and dignitaries present during the function and later by the entire DDA team.
