On behalf of Team DDA, Sandeep Sir Conveys his Wishes to all Submariners on the Gracious Occasion
SANDEEP SIR-DDA DIRECTOR CONVEYS HIS WISHES ON THE INDIAN SUBMARINE DAY- ‘WE SHALL NEVER FORGET THAT IT WAS OUR SUBMARINES THAT HELD THE LINES AGAINST THE ENEMY WHILE OUR FLEETS REPLACED LOSSES AND REPAIRED WOUNDS’ Every year 8th of December 2022 is observed as Indian Submarine Day to pay a tribute to all the submariners who dedicate their services to the nation and undergo very rigorous training courses to be finally designated as Submariners in the Naval forces. The Director of Doon Defence Academy proudly flaunts his badge of Dolphin which is attained after tremendous hard work and rigorous training sessions in the year 1993 around 19 years ago. Sandeep Sir completed his 44 basic Submarine course training in INS Satana-Vishakhapatnam in the year 1993. He confessed to having gone through very tough training. As it is a general opinion that Submariner training is the toughest in the world and Sandeep Sir complies with the general perception. He really feels honored to have dedicated years of his submariner services to the nation and he acknowledges the benefits that he was able to get by working as a submariner with the Indian Navy. The submarine is a very important weapon of the Indian Navy. Other fighter vessels of the Indian Navy might encounter the enemies head-on but the Submarine is a silent warrior and it launches a very subtle attack from the depth of the deep blue sea. One needs to be invariably patient, and have a never-give-up attitude to be a submariner and Sandeep Sir confessed to having instilled these attributes during his tenure as a Submariner. Today, he feels indebted to the Indian Navy for having made him an embodiment of these traits and it is all because of his patience and determination that today Doon Defence Academy is at spectacular heights of success and is silently treading on its path to recruiting young boys and girls in the armed forces by imparting them the academic training and the guidance and counseling they require to be cadets and officials. Like a Dolphin, DDA is silently making its way ahead and is dedicated to the noble cause of providing youngsters recruitment through rigorous training. Sandeep Sir-the venerated Director of DDA spearheading DDA conveys his heartfelt wishes to all the Submariners across the nation and also around the world. He portrays the example of the submarine and the dolphin both silently treading on their path to reach their destinations. One should also silently and surreptitiously make their way ahead by being hardworking and goal-oriented to make life meaningful and exciting.
