ABHISHEK WAS MISLED BUT REACHED DDA SUCCESSFULLY
A man who asks a question is a fool for a minute: the man who does not ask is a fool for life.” It is advisable to ask a question and dispel all your doubts rather than foolishly allow other people to overtake you and decide what is to be done. A question asked can definitely take you to the right decision because the answers received will then be used by the students coming from outstation to authenticate the originality of the Defence Institute they are taking admission in. Many students come to Dehradun with the intention of taking admission at DDA but are misled by the autorickshaws (hired by them) which ultimately take them to the defence academy which pretends to be Doon Defence Academy because of the similarity in their names. There are wide range of defence institutions which have cropped up in Dehradun as they have already witnessed the spectacular heights of success of DDA. Abhishek, a student from Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), and his father Ramend Pratap Singh, a member of the CRPF, are interrogated by Mr Anil Rawat in a video clip. He wants to serve his nation, which is why he wants to be a defence cadet. His father’s job as a CRPF cadet has served as an inspiration to him. He claims that he used Google and careful browsing to determine which defence-related institute was the finest one. After attending DDA for extensive study, he intends to take the CDS exam. Additionally, he was solicited by several phoney and fraudulent organisations that claimed to be DDA and wanted to enrol him as a student under the guise of various alluring discounts. But he did not heed anyone and he relied on his own discretion to authenticate the details and go by his own understanding. After verification, he decided to join DDA.
