Abdul Kalam that “a dream is not what you see while sleeping with your eyes closed but a dream is the one that does not let you sleep as you are so obsessed with it that you can’t sleep a wink until the dream goal is achieved” applies well to the venerable Mr. Sandeep Gupta, Director of Doon Defence Academy. Mr. Sandeep Gupta experienced numerous difficulties growing up because he came from a middle-class household. He was deprived of all the fundamental amenities required for any youngster due to the tragic death of his mother during his youth and a very large family. Despite these limitations, he was endowed with traits like bravery, tenacity, willpower, and a desire to do great things. In spite of his difficulties, he utilized every opportunity that came his way. He went to work at a young age. He delivered newspapers, ran a tea shop, selling ice cream, worked in a bulb factory, and eventually went into sales. Despite being ridiculed, he never gave up or bowed down. He pursued independent learning. He developed into a fantastic cricket player, and one day he promised he would do something heroic for his nation by joining the Indian Navy. Fortunately, he was given the fantastic opportunity to join as a submariner. The option to enlist as a commando or to be a member of the submarine is believed to need hard and difficult training, but for Sandeep Gupta, who had goals as high as a mountain, any difficulty was little in comparison to his strong will and dedication. In 1993, he successfully finished his professional degree to become a submariner. Sandeep Gupta selected a highly odd job as a submariner by breaking up the ocean’s chest and exploring the unfathomable depths of the ocean -a submariner and being a submariner is not everyone’s cup of tea. People typically think of walking on the water but he decided something tougher that was to break open the chest of the vast ocean. He retired voluntarily from the Navy in 2005. His goal was to return to Dehradun and accept a position where he could instruct young people on how to handle weapons and ammunition in the armed services. His long-term ambition has come true: Doon Defence Academy has finished its seventeen years of amazing achievements in the field of providing students with great supervision and academic assistance in order to help them pass the defense competitive test. He had been visiting all nearby villages and localities for many years in an effort to get young people to enlist in the Indian military and merchant navy. He advised and coached them on how to enlist in the military in addition to urging them to do so. In order to make a big contribution to the armed forces and to the young as well, he provided them with coaching on how to complete their written exam, the physical training component, and the interview procedure. Today, Sandeep Gupta, the director of DDA, is delighted to announce that about 10,000 students have found employment in the Indian army and Merchant Navy and the credit goes to the exceptional mentoring and academic assistance offered by his school which indeed resulted from his dedicated efforts and hard work. His institution has actively supported several social welfare initiatives in addition to this enormous contribution to the military forces. For his outstanding contribution to the advancement and development of the Indian Armed Forces, Sandeep Sir has received several renowned honors and accolades, including the Uttarakhand Sainik Shiromani Ratna, Sainik Gaurav Ratna, and many others. Beware of emulators and copycats. This is my suggestion to you. Take complete information about DDA from its website- www.doondefenceacademy.com.
