17th Blood Donation Camp @Sandeep Sir’s Doon Defence Academy
INFLUX OF STUDENTS IN DDA FOR BLOOD DONATION
On the 6th of August,2022 , innumerable students of Doon Defence Academy donated their blood to the blood donation camp organized on the occasion of 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence and the 17th Anniversary of Doon Defence Academy which completed 17 successful years on 15th August and gained popularity in the field of very effective coaching given to the students. This was the 17thblood donation camp conducted at DDA on the occasion of the Independence day.
The importance of the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence can be realized by the pace at which India is making its progress and how DDA is guiding the students in the field of defence leaving behind a legacy of this training to be retained by the youngsters. The students of Doon Defence Academy showed a great enthusiasm by donating their blood for the noble cause of saving some’s life. They donated 151 units of blood. It was in collaboration with Mahant Indresh hospital that the camp was organized. It was on this auspicious day of 15th August in 2005 that Sandeep Sir laid the foundation of this institution. Mr Mohit Chawla, the PRO of the camp told they have been able to collect 151 units of blood. The blood donation camp was done under the aegis of Mahant Indresh hospital.
It was before the commencement of the blood donation camp, there was a meeting and Sandeep Sir addressed the gathering telling that their blood could save the lives of three people and this way he inspired and encouraged them to participate in the camp with full enthusiasm. It also benefits the donor as some of the tests which might have been expensive are done free of cost. He also informed the gathering about the sequence of events which are going to take place on the occasion of India’s Independence. He told everyone about the flag hoisting ceremony when Tiranga will be unfurled in the courtyard of DDA to celebrate the momentous day of the 75TH Anniversary of India’s Independence and the 17TH Anniversary of Doon Defence Academy which surely calls for a hilarious celebration. After the flag hoisting ceremony by the DDA management, the students will address the gathering. Thereafter, to follow the chain of activities held under the nationwide campaign of “Amrit Mahotsav of Independence” launched by the Indian Government, every Indian enthusiastically wishes to participate in making sacrifices for the successful launch of the campaign “Har Ghar Tiranga”. Even the students of DDA are also enthusiastically ready to offer sacrifices for this great mission. DDA has already set an objective of putting fluttering 3000 tricolored flags in the nearby houses and both the staff members and the students will contribute with full zest to make this endeavour a successful one.
In the recent days, Many DDA students who had been taking coaching from DDA have gained successful selection in Army, Navy and Air Force. As per his earlier declaration made by Sandeep Gupta Sir, he had pledged to honour the students getting final selection with the cash prize of 10,000, he has been honouring these selected students with the cash prize of 10,000 in the same sequence. Vaibhav Dhyani was awarded with a cash prize of 10,000 for his successful final selection in Indian Navy. Vipul Jadon and Nishant received a cash prize of 10,000 from Sandeep Sir after their final selection in the Indian Navy was confirmed.
They are from Bullandshahar and they shared their opinion with the other students telling them that it was all because of DDA that they have been able to fulfil their dreams.
